Who We Are

Territory Sellers is a Northern Territory consignment sales business based in Pinelands, just outside Darwin. We started with a simple observation: selling things privately in the Territory is a pain. Ads to write, photos to take, strangers to message, prices to haggle, no-shows to wait around for — most people either give up, sell for far less than their item is worth, or let perfectly good gear gather dust in the shed.

So we built a business around fixing that. You hand the job to us, we agree on the minimum price you're willing to accept, and from that moment the selling becomes our problem, not yours. We advertise, we answer the enquiries, we negotiate, we close the deal — and you get paid once the funds have cleared.

Why Consignment?

Consignment is the fairest way to sell on someone's behalf. Because we only earn our commission when your item actually sells, our interests line up with yours: the better the result we get for you, the better the result for us. Your item remains your property until the moment it sells, and it will never be sold below the minimum price you've agreed to. There's no transferring ownership up front, and no pressure to accept an offer you're not happy with.

Local Knowledge Matters

The Top End market is its own beast. What sells well in Sydney or Melbourne doesn't always move in Darwin, and Territory buyers look in different places and value different things. Being based here means we price items realistically for this market, know which channels reach genuine local buyers, and can move quickly when the right buyer comes along. From Darwin and Palmerston to the rural area, we know who's buying and what they're paying.

How We Do Business
